Principles of our Sales Policy

  1. The continuing existence and continuity of the MEIKO Group depends on building quality relationships with our clients. All our efforts therefore go to the consolidation and improvement of these relationships and to customer retention.
  2. The safeguarding of companies and jobs can only be achieved through a strong market position. This is why we strive for market leadership in selected market/client segments. These segments are to be selected according to attainable sales volume and revenues.
  3. Sales and revenue targets have to be balanced. Increases in volumes are essential in growing markets, and desirable in shrinking and stagnating markets, but in all market conditions, appropriate revenues must be ensured.
    • We therefore avoid the waste of energy, material, and capacity.
    • We manufacture our products in as few production steps as possible.
    • We pay heed to short production processes.
    • We understand, manage, and organise serial production (standard-type volumes with high repetitiveness) as serial production.
    • We understand, manage, and organise system construction (make-to-order production, complexity and low repetitiveness) as system construction.
    • A decentralised sales organisation is an important prerequisite for customer understanding. This is why we will strengthen this structure and further expand it.
  4. Business relations are relations between people, and as such they are based on fairness and reliability. We therefore highly value personal contact with our clients; they can count on our promises.
  5. Service is an important competitive factor and we continually strive to make improvements to our service organisation. This includes the prompt provision of spare parts and information as well as the fast and thorough processing of complaints.
  6. Up-to-date information provides a competitive advantage. This is why we maintain a constant information exchange.
  7. We treat our competitors fairly. Our competitive behavior is characterized both by integrity and the pursuit of success.

Principles of our Technology

  1. We work for our clients. This is why our activities and decisions are focused towards increasing customer value.
  2. We work to safeguard our company, a company that competes with other firms. Readiness to supply, adherence to delivery dates, cost effectiveness, and a high production standard are the objectives of our business. A high and innovative technological standard is the prerequisite for our activities.
  3. An adequate cost/performance ratio means customer value and competitive advantage at the same time; furthermore, only a positive corporate result allows us to make the necessary investments in technology and innovation.
  4. We are fully aware of our responsibility with regards to the consumption of resources and the environment. Hence, we develop and build equipment and facilities with low energy, water, and chemicals consumption.
  5. Client retention is reinforced by durability and maintenance friendly equipment and facilities. We only use high-quality materials, which are, as far as possible, recyclable.
  6. The profitability of a product is essentially determined by organisation (material flow, manufacturing chain, planning, steering and communication), more so than by technology. Thus we implement the principle “organisation before technology”.
  7. Quality is not everything, but without quality there would be nothing. This is why we stand for high quality with our actions, our service, and our products.
  8. It is in the interest and benefit of our clients that we improve our knowledge and capabilities. We therefore interpret our clients' wishes as an invitation to prove our skills.
